We came to Bulgaria and fell in love with the country, so much so, we left the UK and moved here permanantly. After finding a suitable property, we spent almost a year renovating it, and starting our self catering holiday accommodation business, offering three self contained studios. We are situated in the village of Velikan, South Central Bulgaria. We chose this area for the rural life and the beautiful warm weather. The village overlooks the Rhodopi Mountains, with scenes reminiscent of the English countryside 50 years ago. Although we are located in a peaceful and idyllic area, the hustle and bustle of towns and cities is also close by.
